The overall geometry draws inspiration from the protective overlapping scales of the pangolin and the sweeping, elongated profile of the Argentinosaurus. While these natural precedents differ in scale and function, both demonstrate highly efficient structural systems that balance strength, protection, and movement.
Rising Form
The pavilion's flowing canopy emulates the smooth curvature and continuous motion of these organic forms, appearing to rise naturally from the landscape before extending outward in a dramatic cantilever. This gesture creates a sense of growth and fluidity, as if the structure has emerged from the ground rather than being placed upon it. The resulting form conveys both shelter and openness, inviting visitors beneath its canopy while maintaining uninterrupted visual connections to the surrounding city.
